Pork Chop

Mashed Potatoes

Charred Asparagus

Bacon Gouda Gravy

Method

Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Rub the pork chops with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Pork Chops

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove from grill and let rest.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain.

  2. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

In the same pot, add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Charred Asparagus

  1. 5

    Prepare the Asparagus

Rinse the asparagus and trim the ends. Toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Char the Asparagus

On a hot grill or in a skillet, cook the asparagus for about 5-7 minutes until tender and charred, turning occasionally.

Bacon Gouda Gravy

  1. 7

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble; set aside, but keep the drippings in the skillet.

  2. 8

    Make the Gravy

Add flour to the bacon drippings and whisk for 2 minutes. Gradually add chicken broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer until thickened, then stir in the gouda cheese and crumbled bacon until melted and creamy.
