Preparing the Steak

Season the Filet Mignon
Pat the filet mignon pieces dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper evenly on all sides.

Sear the Steak
In a heavy skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the filet mignon and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes, creating a nice crust.

Add Flavor
Add the butter, garlic cloves (crushed), and rosemary into the skillet. Continue to cook, basting the steak with the melted butter for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Rest the Steak
Remove the filet mignon from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Roast the Asparagus
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes until tender.

Prepare the Cherry Tomatoes
In a separate bowl, combine cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

Combine and Serve
Once the asparagus is roasted, add the cherry tomatoes to the baking sheet for the last 2 minutes of roasting. Serve alongside the filet mignon.
