Pizza Dough Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add olive oil, salt, and flour gradually, mixing until a dough forms.
- 2
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 3
Let it Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Pizza Assembly
- 4
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- 5
Shape the Dough
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- 6
Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread marinara sauce over the dough, then layer cooked shrimp, chopped green chiles, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Season with black pepper and Italian seasoning.
- 7
Bake the Pizza
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 8
Slice and Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
