Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh mixed berries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon. Gently toss to coat the berries evenly. Pour the berry mixture into a greased baking dish.

  2. 2

    Make the Topping

In another mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.

Baking

  1. 3

    Assemble and Bake

Spoon the topping mixture over the berry filling, spreading it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

  2. 4

    Serve

Allow the cobbler to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with scoops of vanilla bean ice cream on top.
