Drink Your Dessert

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chocolate Rim

In a shallow dish, combine the crushed Mexican Abuelita chocolate and sugar. Mix well until combined.

  2. 2

    Rim the Glass

Moisten the rim of your serving glass with a little horchata. Dip the rim into the chocolate and sugar mixture to coat it evenly. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Drink Mix

In a shaker, combine Licor 43 and horchata. If you prefer a chilled drink, add ice and shake well until combined.

  4. 4

    Add Espresso

Pour the prepared Licor 43 and horchata mixture into the rimmed glass. Slowly pour the espresso over the mixture to create a layered effect.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Top the drink with a splash of milk or cream for creaminess. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for garnish. Serve immediately.
