Ingredients for Snow Crab Legs

Method

Directions for Preparing Snow Crab Legs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Legs

Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Add the Crab Legs

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the snow crab legs to the pot. Make sure they are submerged in the water.

  3. 3

    Cook the Crab Legs

Cover the pot and cook the crab legs for about 5-7 minutes. They are usually pre-cooked, so you're just heating them through.

  4. 4

Prepare the Garlic Butter (Garlic Version)

While the crab legs are cooking, melt 1 cup of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and simmer for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  5. 5

Prepare the Cajun Butter (Cajun Version)

Alternatively, for a Cajun version, melt 1 cup of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve the Crab Legs

Once cooked, remove the crab legs from the pot and drain. Serve them hot with the garlic butter or Cajun butter on the side for dipping. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
