Pork Chop Marsala Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork Chops

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the mushrooms are browned and tender.

  4. 4

    Deglaze the Pan

Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Combine and Simmer

Return the pork chops to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the pork chops before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes on the side.
