Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into two equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Manchego cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a patty with melted Manchego, a slice of tomato, and a tablespoon of pepper bacon jam. Top with the other half of the bun.

House Fries Directions

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into fries, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 7

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 8

    Bake the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
