Beef Liver

Mashed Potatoes

Caramelized Onions

Method

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  1. 1

    Boil Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Mash Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Caramelize the Onions

  1. 3

    Cook Onions

Slice the onions thinly. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and salt, cooking slowly until they are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

Cook the Beef Liver

  1. 4

    Season and Cook

Rinse the beef liver and pat it dry. Season with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the liver and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.

Serve

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the beef liver alongside a generous portion of mashed potatoes, topped with caramelized onions.
