Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 2

    Make Dough

In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly & Baking

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. 6

    Shape the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to a 10-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Add Toppings

Transfer the shaped dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then add prosciutto and burrata evenly across the surface.

  4. 8

    Bake the Pizza

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.

  5. 9

    Finish with Arugula

Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh arugula. Drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
