Clean the Shrimp
Rinse the large shrimp under cold water to remove any debris. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Prepare the Steaming Pot
In a large pot, add 1 quart of water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and prepare to steam.
Seasoning the Shrimp

Season the Shrimp
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with 3 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning and 1 tablespoon of salt. Toss to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.
Steaming

Steam the Shrimp
Place the seasoned shrimp in a steamer basket or on a steaming rack above the simmering water. Cover with a lid and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Serving

Serve the Shrimp
Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the steamer and transfer them to a serving platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley.
