Preparing the Ribs

Season the Ribs
Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels. Rub salt and black pepper evenly over the ribs on both sides.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Wrap the Ribs
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil, placing them on a baking sheet.

Bake the Ribs
Place the wrapped ribs in the preheated oven and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
Making the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.

Broil the Ribs
Place the ribs back in the oven on a baking sheet and broil for 5-10 minutes, watching closely until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
