Crab Cakes Preparation

Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the jumbo lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, and bread crumbs. Gently mix to avoid breaking the crab meat.

Season
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix gently until all ingredients are just combined.

Form the Crab Cakes
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

Chill the Patties
Place the crab cakes on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape while cooking.

Cook the Corn
Boil water in a large pot. Add the fresh corn on the cob and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.

Make the Coleslaw
In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the coleslaw is evenly coated.

On a large platter, place the broiled crab cakes alongside the fresh corn on the cob and a generous serving of coleslaw.
