Method
Cooking Fries
- 1
Prepare the fries
Preheat the oven or fryer according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. If using a fryer, fill it with vegetable oil and heat to 175°C (350°F).
- 2
Cook the fries
Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through. If using a fryer, carefully lower the fries into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
Adding Toppings
- 3
Add cheese and bacon
Once the fries are cooked and crispy, remove them from the oven or fryer and immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the fries. Follow with the crumbled bacon and sliced green onions.
- 4
Melt the cheese
Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Making Horseradish Sauce
- 5
Combine ingredients
In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, prepared horseradish, and Dijon mustard until well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6
Serve
Serve the loaded fries hot with a generous side of horseradish sauce for dipping.
