Preparing the Salad

Wash and Prepare the Vegetables
Wash the mixed greens thoroughly under cold water and spin dry in a salad spinner. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds, the tomatoes into wedges, and the red onion into thin rings.

Assemble the Salad
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, tomato wedges, and red onion rings. Toss gently to mix the ingredients together.

Add Croutons (Optional)
If using croutons, sprinkle them over the salad just before serving for added crunch.
Making the Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and honey (if using) until well combined.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to coat the salad evenly with the dressing.
