Method

Appetizers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bruschetta

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the loaf of bread into 1/2 inch slices and place them on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Make the Topping

Chop the tomatoes and basil finely. In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, basil, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar together. Season with salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble and Bake

Spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the bread is golden and crispy.

Main Course

  1. 4

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 5

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

  3. 6

    Sauté the Vegetables

In another pan, sauté the mixed vegetables in a little olive oil until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Side Dishes

  1. 7

    Cook the Rice

In a pot, bring the vegetable broth to a boil. Add the rice, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.

  2. 8

    Finish the Rice

Stir in the butter and season with salt to taste before serving.

Dessert

  1. 9

    Prepare the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until well combined.

  2. 10

    Bake the Cake

Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  3. 11

    Frost the Cake

Let the cake cool completely before frosting it with the prepared frosting.
