Preparing the Filet Mignon

Wrap the Filet Mignon
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season each filet mignon with salt and black pepper. Wrap each steak with two slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.

Sear the Steaks
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a little oil and sear the bacon-wrapped filets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bacon is crispy.

Transfer the seared filets to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached.
