Chicken Marinade

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Chicken Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat your grill over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest.

Crab Imperial

  1. 4

    Mix Crab Imperial Ingredients

In a bowl, combine lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, chopped parsley, and beaten egg. Mix gently to avoid breaking the crab meat.

  2. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Bake the Crab Imperial

Transfer the crab mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and slightly golden on top.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 7

    Prepare the Rolls

While the crab is baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the rolls cut side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each toasted roll, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a grilled chicken breast. Top each with a generous scoop of crab imperial and two slices of Jack cheese.

  3. 9

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 10

    Finish and Serve

Top with sliced tomatoes, place the top half of the roll on each sandwich, and serve immediately.
