Method
Preparation of Salad Base
- 1
Chop Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it using a salad spinner or pat it down with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Croutons
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the chopped romaine lettuce.
- 3
Prepare Hard Cooked Eggs
Peel the hard-cooked eggs and cut them into quarters. Arrange the egg quarters on top of the salad.
- 4
Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad mixture.
Preparation of Dressing
- 5
Mix Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic (finely chopped), salt, and black pepper.
- 6
Whisk the Dressing
Using a whisk or fork, mix the ingredients together until well combined and the dressing is emulsified.
- 7
Dress the Salad
Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss the salad gently to ensure the dressing is evenly distributed.
