Method

Hoagie Filling

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Dice the red bell pepper and onion into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped steak and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add Vegetables

Add the diced red bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the steak. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Scramble the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Push the steak and vegetable mixture to one side of the skillet and pour the eggs into the empty side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Hoagies

Once the eggs are cooked, mix everything together in the skillet. Place the mixture into the hoagie rolls and top with American cheese. Allow the cheese to melt slightly before serving.

Home Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and dice the potatoes into small cubes.

  2. 7

    Cook the Potatoes

In a separate skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the home fries alongside the hoagie rolls for a complete breakfast.
