Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Baked Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the potatoes thoroughly, prick them with a fork several times, and rub them with olive oil and salt. Place them directly on the oven rack and bake for about 45-60 minutes, or until tender.

2

Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent. Then, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and reduce the sauce slightly, about 5-10 minutes.

4

Combine and Serve

Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it well with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. Serve the smothered chicken alongside the baked potatoes, topped with butter, sour cream, and chives.
