Ranch Dressing

Method

Cheese Curds Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese Curds

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Cheese Curds

Take each cheese curd and first coat it in the flour mixture, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.

  5. 5

    Fry the Cheese Curds

Carefully add the breaded cheese curds to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Ranch Dressing Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Mix Until Smooth

Whisk all the ingredients together until the dressing is smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. 8

    Refrigerate

Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
