Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

  2. 2

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

  3. 3

    Add Flavor Variations

At this point, you can add chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits, or any other flavor add-ins you desire.

  4. 4

    Shape and Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

  5. 5

    Cool and Serve

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your freshly baked cookies!
