Preparation Steps
Make the Dough
In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Prepare the Pan
Grease a rectangular baking pan (about 10x14 inches) with olive oil. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and stretch it to fit the prepared pan. Make sure to push it against the edges to create a thick crust.
Add Toppings
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving the edges exposed. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni slices and then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Cut into squares and serve hot.
