Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce under cool running water. Shake off excess water and dry using a salad spinner or patting with a clean kitchen towel.

Chop the Lettuce
Once dry, chop the romaine into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons and Cheese
Add the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl with the chopped romaine.
Dressing Preparation

Make the Dressing
In a medium-sized bowl, combine minced garlic, minced anchovy fillets, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk together until well combined.

Add Olive Oil
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified and smooth.

Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Combining the Salad

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the prepared dressing over the romaine, croutons, and Parmesan cheese in the salad bowl.

Toss the Salad
Gently toss the salad until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

Serve immediately on individual plates or in a large bowl, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
