Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim the asparagus and halve the cherry tomatoes. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Sear the Filet

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  3. 3

    Sear the Scallops

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and thyme. Add the scallops to the skillet, searing for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and opaque in the center. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the asparagus and tomatoes. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place the seared filet, top with scallops, and arrange the sautéed vegetables on the side.
