Instructions

1

Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center and crack the eggs into it. Gradually mix the flour into the eggs using a fork until a dough begins to form.

2

Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for at least 30 minutes.

3

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

4

Roll Out the Dough

Divide the dough into four pieces. Roll out one piece at a time into thin sheets using a pasta machine or rolling pin, keeping the rest covered to prevent drying.

5

Fill the Ravioli

Place a teaspoon of filling about 1 inch apart on one sheet of dough. Brush around the filling with water. Place another sheet of dough on top and press down to seal around the filling.

6

Cut the Ravioli

Using a knife or a ravioli cutter, cut out the ravioli. Ensure they are well sealed, and dust with flour to prevent sticking.

7

Cook the Ravioli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook for 4-5 minutes or until they float to the surface. Remove with a slotted spoon.
