Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Add Salmon to Marinade

Place the salmon fillets into the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Grill Grates

Lightly oil the grill grates with a paper towel dipped in olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on the hot grill. Grill the salmon for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork and has grill marks.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Salmon

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Then, plate the salmon fillets.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with lemon wedges and extra dill sprigs if desired. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
