Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even pieces. Boil them in salted water until tender, approximately 15-20 minutes.

2

Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper, then mash until smooth and creamy.

3

Cook the Steak

Cut the beef tenderloin and KC strip into bite-sized cubes. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef cubes for about 3-4 minutes until browned, then remove them from the skillet.

4

Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5

Add Mushrooms and Demi-glace

Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes. Pour in the demi-glace and stir until everything is well combined.

6

Combine Steak and Sauce

Return the cooked steak cubes to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

7

Serve

Spoon the mashed potatoes onto plates and top with the steak tips and sauce mixture. Enjoy!
