Meatballs
Method
Preparation
Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cook the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Make the BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine wheat beer, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
Simmer the Sauce
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
Combine Meatballs with Sauce
Once the meatballs are cooked, toss them in the BBQ sauce until well coated.
