Crab Cakes
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Crab Cake Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until well combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form the Crab Cakes
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
- 3
Pan-sear the Crab Cakes
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Sauces
While the crab cakes are cooking, prepare the mango coulis and house-made remoulade as desired.
- 5
Serve
Serve the crab cakes warm, drizzled with mango coulis and accompanied by the remoulade.
