Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Making the French Fries

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Rinse the cut potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season immediately with salt.

Making the Garlic Butter

  1. 5

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic (from the 3 cloves) and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley and lemon juice.
