Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

In a large pot, place the eggs and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool the Eggs

After the time has elapsed, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water using a slotted spoon. Allow them to cool for about 5-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Peel the Eggs

Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel the shells under running water to make it easier. Set the peeled eggs aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Filling

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks into a bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the yolks. Mash the mixture together until smooth and well combined.

  5. 5

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Sprinkle the filled eggs with crumbled bacon and a dash of paprika for presentation.
