Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for roasting the Brussels sprouts.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry.

Roasting

  1. 3

    Season the Brussels Sprouts

In a large bowl, toss the prepared Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 5

    Roast

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through the cooking time.

Glazing

  1. 6

    Prepare the Balsamic Glaze

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. 7

    Reduce the Glaze

Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly.

  3. 8

    Glaze the Brussels Sprouts

Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, remove them from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over them, tossing to combine.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Transfer the glazed Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy them warm as a delicious side dish.
