Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the tomato mixture. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Baguette
Slice the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the slices on a baking sheet, oiled-side up, and bake for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Top the Toasts
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously on top of each slice.

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is still warm and enjoy!
