Double Elvis Burger Recipe

We use two peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwiches (topped with bacon) as the top and bottom buns for this burger. Inside is a flame-grilled 8-ounce ground sirloin patty topped with a king sized helpin’ of smooth peanut butter, bacon and fried bananas, all served on a toasted burger bun.

Directions to Prepare Double Elvis Burger

    Prepare the Bacon

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

    Prepare the Fried Bananas

    In the same skillet, add sliced bananas and sauté until golden brown. Set aside.

    Cook the Sirloin Patty

    Form the ground sirloin into a patty, season with salt and pepper, and grill or pan-fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

    Assemble the Sandwich

    Spread peanut butter on one side of the burger bun and raspberry jam on the other. Place the grilled sirloin patty on the jam side, top with fried bananas and crispy bacon, then close the sandwich with the peanut butter side.

    Toast the Bun

    In a clean skillet, melt butter and toast the assembled burger on both sides until golden brown.

    Slice the burger in half and serve immediately with extra bacon and banana on the side if desired.
