Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

Take the bone-in cowboy ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes before cooking.

2

Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the steak with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure to rub the seasoning into the meat.

3

Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the skillet if using.

4

Sear the Steak

Place the seasoned steak on the grill or skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time depending on your desired doneness.

5

Add Flavor

During the last minute of cooking, add butter and fresh rosemary to the skillet or grill. Baste the steak with the melted butter and herbs for enhanced flavor.

6

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

7

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious bone-in cowboy ribeye!
