For the Mojo Marinade

Method

For the Mojo Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mojo Marinade

In a blender, combine the garlic cloves, fresh orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Place the roast pork in a shallow dish and pour the mojo marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

For the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your grill or panini press. Slice the Cuban bread in half lengthwise.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Layer the marinated roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles on the bottom half of the Cuban bread. Spread yellow mustard on the top half of the bread and place it on top of the sandwich.

  3. 5

    Grill the Sandwich

Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich. Place the sandwich on the preheated grill or panini press and grill for about 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove the sandwich from the grill, slice it in half, and serve immediately.
