Preparation

1

Gather Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients: Dussé Cognac, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, lemon twist, and ice cubes.

2

Chill the Glass

Optionally, chill your serving glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.

Mixing

3

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Dussé Cognac, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.

4

Shake

Add 4 ice cubes to the shaker, close it tightly, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.

5

Strain

Strain the mixture into the chilled glass, either straight up or over fresh ice, depending on your preference.

Garnishing

6

Add Garnish

Twist a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils and drop it into the glass as a garnish.
