- 3
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Let the Dough Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Chipotle Cream Sauce Preparation
- 5
Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, combine the sour cream, chipotle peppers, lime juice, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.

Flatbread Assembly
- 7
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

- 10
Add the Toppings
Remove the flatbreads from the oven and sprinkle the smoked gouda and Hawaiian marinated mozzarella evenly across the top. Return to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- 11
Finish with Shiso
Remove from the oven and garnish with shiso chiffonade. Drizzle the chipotle cream sauce over the top before serving.
