Beef Patties Preparation

Mix the Patty Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Prepare the Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

Build the Sliders
Spread a spoonful of Surinam cherry jam on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Place a beef patty with melted Cambozola on top, followed by a handful of arugula and a sprinkling of crispy fried onions. Top with the other half of the bun.
