Method
Ice Cream Base Preparation

Prepare the Base
In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is hot but not boiling, stirring frequently.

Add Flavor
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Churn and Flavor Ice Cream

Churn the Ice Cream
Once the base is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Add Flavorings
During the last few minutes of churning, add your chosen flavorings (chocolate syrup, strawberries, mint extract, crushed cookies, pistachios, or caramel sauce) to the ice cream base.

Transfer to Container
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to harden.
Serving

Scoop and Serve
Once the ice cream has hardened, scoop out 4 scoops of your selected flavors and serve in a flight display or individual bowls. Enjoy!
