Preparation
1. Marinate the Steak
In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and add to the marinade. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Vegetables
While the steak is marinating, cut the red and green bell peppers, onion, and pineapple into similar-sized chunks.
3. Assemble Skewers
Thread the marinated steak, bell peppers, onion, and pineapple onto skewers, alternating between each ingredient.
4. Grill the Skewers
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
5. Serve
Remove from the grill and let rest briefly. Serve with sticky rice and drizzle with housemade whiskey sauce.
