Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Fish

Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Scale and gut the fish if not already done.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Fish

Place the cleaned branzino in a large dish or a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring it coats the inside and outside. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 5

    Grill the Fish

Remove the branzino from the marinade and let the excess drip off. Place the fish on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the branzino from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve whole, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
