Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Turkey Patties
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than the burger buns to account for shrinkage while cooking.
Grilling
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 4
Grill the Patties
Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of Muenster cheese on each. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 5
Grill the Tomato
While the patties are grilling, slice the large tomato into thick slices. Grill the tomato slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are slightly charred.
Assembling the Burgers
- 6
Prepare the Sriracha Mayo
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha until well combined. Adjust the amount of sriracha to taste.
- 7
Slice the Avocado
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and slice it thinly.
