Method

Grilled Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat evenly.

  2. 2

    Marinate

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.

Fried Chicken

  1. 4

    Marinate Chicken

Soak the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 5

    Prepare Breading

In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 6

    Bread Chicken

Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.

  4. 7

    Fry Chicken

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown, about 15-18 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Salmon

  1. 8

    Prepare Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 9

    Marinate Salmon

Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  3. 10

    Cook Salmon

Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Calamari

  1. 11

    Prepare Breading

In a bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 12

    Bread Calamari

Dredge calamari rings in the flour mixture until well coated.

  3. 13

    Fry Calamari

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the calamari in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

  4. 14

    Serve

Serve calamari with lemon wedges on the side.
