Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined. Shape into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Pimento Cheese

  1. 3

    Make the Pimento Cheese

In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, diced pimentos, mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Set aside.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.

  2. 5

    Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add olive oil and thinly sliced onion. Cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the onions are caramelized and golden brown.

  3. 6

    Prepare the Roasted Garlic Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Build the Burger

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom half of each bun, spread a generous amount of pimento cheese. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by crispy bacon and caramelized onions. Drizzle with roasted garlic aioli and top with the other half of the bun.
