Prepare the Pickles
Drain the pickles and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Pickle Chips
Carefully place the breaded pickle chips into the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain the Chips
Remove the fried pickle chips and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk Until Smooth
Whisk the mixture until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Refrigerate the ranch dressing for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
