Filling

House Ranch Dipping Sauce

Method

Prepare Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, finely chopped jalapeños, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Assemble Rangoons

  1. 2

    Fill Wontons

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly. You can also fold the corners towards the center to create a more decorative shape.

  2. 3

    Repeat Filling

Repeat the filling and sealing process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling until all are used.

Fry Rangoons

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry Rangoons

Carefully add a few rangoons to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  3. 6

    Drain Rangoons

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried rangoons from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Continue frying the remaining rangoons.

Make House Ranch Dipping Sauce

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
