Crispy Crinkle Fries

Side Salad

Method

Blackened Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spice Mixture

In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. This will be the blackening seasoning.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil over each fillet, then generously coat them with the spice mixture on all sides.

  3. 3

    Make Honey-Mustard Glaze

In a separate bowl, whisk together honey and Dijon mustard until well combined.

  4. 4

    Cook the Salmon

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned salmon fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, brushing the honey-mustard glaze over the fillets in the last minute of cooking.

Crispy Crinkle Fries

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen crinkle-cut fries.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Fries

Spread the frozen crinkle-cut fries on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the fries and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven until golden and crispy, following the package cooking time.

Side Salad

  1. 8

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion.

  2. 9

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper to taste.

  3. 10

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving, and toss gently to combine.
